Spring Concert of Band/Strings/Chorus Tuesday June 13th, 6:00 p.m.
Music in Our Schools Month-Month of March, across the country is "Music in Our Schools Month". We are celebrating at Martinson during the week of March 20-24th with lunchtime concerts at all grade levels.
The fifth grade is attending the B.S.O. concert on Wed. March 22nd. The program will be devoted to some American composers. We will follow up with an in-depth study of the music of American composers Gershwin, Bernstein, Copland, and Harold Arlen (composer of "Stormy Weather", "If I only Had a Brain", etc.)
